Upcoming Events for Kids and Students

Monthly Activities for Kids on Sunday Nights

5-7pm in the Mt. Gilead Gym (dates/age groups vary)

Youth Groups on Sunday Nights

Middle School (Grades 6-8) meet 5:15-6:45pm at the church in room G10.
These sessions are a mixture of games, food, and bible study. Bring your friends!
High School (Grades 9-12) meet 5-7pm at House Groups.
Each Sunday night we provide an opportunity for students to hang out, worship, and learn from Scripture.
9 & 10 grades at the Hopwood House, (3663 E. Milkhouse Ln.)
11 & 12 grades at the Johnson House, (3674 E. Milkhouse Ln.)

Camp Allendale Summer Camp – Grades 1-5
Registration opens in February.

Christ in Youth (CIY) – Overnight events/Summer Camps

A Savior Is Born

Exodus 1:8-2:10
Main Idea: God sees our suffering and sends a Savior

1. God sees His people’s suffering – 1:8-22

Three Principles Concerning God’s Blessing and Our Suffering

God’s blessing does not exclude His people from suffering
God’s blessing is often felt most clearly in our suffering
God’s blessing intensifies the desperation of God’s enemies

2. God sends His Savior to deliver His people – 2:1-10

Moses is born under the curse of death
Moses is protected by God’s providence
Moses is uniquely prepared to be a savior
