A Next Generation Orientation: At Home and at Church

1 Give ear, O my people, to my teaching;
incline your ears to the words of my mouth!
2 I will open my mouth in a parable;
I will utter dark sayings from of old,
3 things that we have heard and known,
that our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their children,
but tell to the coming generation
the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might,
and the wonders that he has done.
1. The purpose of parenting is to .
- Share with your kids what are learning.
- Ask your kids about what are learning.
- Have regular family .
- Read age-appropriate Bible story books.

- Let your kids read from a Bible story book
(The Biggest Story Bible Storybook) - Read a story/passage together and discuss it.
- Have your kids read a story/passage on their own and later discuss it as a family.

5 He established a testimony in Jacob
and appointed a law in Israel,

and not forget the works of God,
but keep his commandments;
