Colossians 2:1-5 (ESV)

1 For I want you to know how great a struggle I have for you and for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face…

12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.”           (Colossians 4:12, ESV)

“1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:1-3, ESV)

Life Together at Ingleside

We, the members of Ingleside Baptist Church, affirm that to be a member of the Ingleside family of faith is to be committed to developing a growing relationship with Christ and growing relationships with other members of the body.  In the context of these relationships, we commit to God and to one another that we will earnestly endeavor to do the following under the leadership of the Holy Spirit:

  1. We will prize and protect the unity of our church family

. . . by acting in love toward other members
. . . by refusing to gossip and stir up dissension
. . . by honoring and following the leaders

…to reach all the riches of full assurance of understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, which is Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

  1. A healthy church is committed to .
4 I say this in order that no one may delude you with plausible arguments.
  • Don’t be deceived by views that sound but are not .
5 For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
