A Savior Is Born

Exodus 1:8-2:10
Main Idea: God sees our suffering and sends a Savior

1.  God sees His people’s suffering – 1:8-22

Three Principles Concerning God’s Blessing and Our Suffering

  • God’s blessing does not exclude His people from suffering
  • God’s blessing is often felt most clearly in our suffering
  • God’s blessing intensifies the desperation of God’s enemies
2.  God sends His Savior to deliver His people – 2:1-10
  • Moses is born under the curse of death
  • Moses is protected by God’s providence
  • Moses is uniquely prepared to be a savior
